Overview of the programme

This course gives you what is needed to practise as a team coach in terms of models, frameworks, methods and tools, as well as develop your systemic and psychological understanding of group dynamics.

And we go beyond this cognitive realm towards ways of being and seeing, using self as a team coach, drawing upon the intuitive mind to help the coach develop relational awareness and embodied attunement within any group. At the core of our approach is the personal work of recognising how we become caught in relationship and taking ownership of our unconscious projections, transferences and valences in relation to groups and systems.

There is congruence between the way we work and other psychological, relational, embodied and systemic approaches. We show how the depth coach draws upon these perspectives to allow what is unconscious, unspoken or unacknowledged within a team to emerge. We seek to go further by engaging principles of synthesis to open the way for the emergence of a teams’ full potential and collective intelligence.

This course is advanced coach training and is part of a 250-hour EMCC accreditation programme * for those seeking Senior Practitioner accreditation as Team Coaches.

We welcome applications from coaches without previous training in psychosynthesis who have relevant personal and professional development experience and the capacity to self-reflect.  Prior individual coach accreditation is required for EMCC team coach accreditation.

Although this is a primarily a team coach training, it is also a co-creative inquiry as we work together to evolve ways of supporting leadership teams respond to a VUCA world in crisis and transition.

Structure of the Programme

Part One: Foundations of team coaching

Cohort 3o + 3i: 2-day Online workshop: 20-21 February 2027, Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 UK, Sunday 09:00 – 16:00 UK.

Please note: This Part One workshop takes place online for all participants.  Subsequently you my attend either online or London inperson for the Part Two and Part three workshops.

Part Two: Going to depth as a team coach

Cohort 3o (Online): 13-14 March 2027, 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days. 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days,

Cohort 3i (London Inperson): 20-21 March 2027, 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days. 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days,

Part Three: Practice – frameworks and tools, reflection and inquiry

Cohort 3o (Online):17-18 April 2027. Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 UK, Sunday 09:00 – 16:00 UK

Cohort 3i (London Inperson): 24-25 April 2027, 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days. 09:00 – 16:00 UK both days,

Study guides and course materials are provided.

A CPD Certificate in Psychosynthesis Team Coaching is awarded at the completion of the three-part course.

Participants may then decide to continue with Part Four, which leads to EMCC ITCA Accreditation, but will need to have at least one current team coaching assignment that they can bring to supervision.

Part Four: Practice, Supervision and Accreditation Programme (taking you to EMCC ITCA)

Six half-day skills practice and team coaching simulation workshops (weekdays, times: 09:00-13:00 UK).

These take place monthly from May (except August) and participants must attend at least four of these.  September will take place in-person in London. Dates: 27 May, 24 June, 22 July, 24 September, 29 October, 25 November 2027.

Six Group Supervision session (2 hours each, online only)

Four individual tutor sessions (1 hour each, online only, to be arranged with course tutor).

Course fees

The Training Course (Parts One, Two and Three): £1200 + VAT or €1400

The Accreditation Programme (Part Four) is an additional £2100 + VAT or €2420 inclusive of practice workshops, group supervision, individual supervision, written paper and EMCC accreditation fee.
